Prof. Alexandre Richa advises clients (banks, other companies, individuals) mainly in banking and finance, as well as in corporate law matters (including mergers and acquisitions). He has a vast experience in complex international disputes, especially in the financial field, and represents clients before courts, FINMA and other authorities. He is ranked in the leading lawyers’ directories Chambers Global 2022 (Banking & Finance, Switzerland), Chambers Europe 2022 (Banking & Finance, Switzerland) and Best Lawyers in Switzerland 2022 (Banking & Finance, Corporate Law and Regulatory Practice).
Prof. Alexandre Richa is also an associate Professor at the University of Lausanne, HEC Lausanne, where he notably teaches financial market law and corporate law. He is also the Chairman of the Geneva Law and Legislation Society and a member of the board of several non-profit organizations in the legal field: scientific committee of the AEDBF Europe (European Society for Banking and Financial Law), committee of the AEDBF Switzerland, Foundation Board of CEDIDAC, academic committee of the Bank Innovation Competence Center and advisory board of the Capital Markets and Technology Association.
